Body Percussion(Me, James, Kareem & Nathen)

 

this is my body percussion that i did in music class with my friends James, Kareem, Nathen and my other friend Samir but he wasnt here today so........... I hope you like it!!!!

Skittles

 Aim: to use water to extract the dye from the skittles using the process of chromatography.

Materials: 

• 1.   5 Skittles
• 2.   Water
• 3.   Petri Dish
• 4.   Beaker

Process: 

Step 1: Place the skittles into the petri dish around the edges.

Step 2: Pour 100ml or 50ml(depends on how big your petri dish is should be half way) water gently into the middle of the petri dish.

Step 3: Then watch the colours spread around the petri dish until it is done.

Step 4: when it is done you can tip it out in the sink

Explain the findings

Why do they bleed out at the same rate? because it is sugar

Why do the colours not mix together? because it is sugar

The fastest colour was... Yellow

Weirdest Sports Ever

 This week my class had to research some of the weirdest sports ever

 Shovel Racing: Shovel racing is a sport where you have to race down a snowy mountain you could do it in the U.S.   but now you can't because the hosts X games stopped hosting it due to health and safety reasons.

 Toe Wrestling: Toe Wrestling is a sport where you have to be bare foot and tangle your big toe with your competitors   and there will be a small board that if the competitor touch it you lose.
