Science again
Method:
1. Place the heat mat
2. Put the Bunsen burner on the heat mat
3. Plug the Bunsen burner into the gas tap
4. Put the tripod over the Bunsen burner
5. Put the gauze mat on the tripod
Equipment needed:
1. Bunsen Burner
2. Safety glasses
3. Heat mat
4. Tripod
5. Gauze mat
Other:
1. The hottest part of the flame is the inner flame.
2. The order of lighting a Bunsen burner is light the match then turn on the tap.
Questions:
1. Where is the broken glass put? in the special glass bin.
2. How do you stop all class gas taps? with the emergency gas stop button.
3. Where is the fire extinguisher? next to the little door in the corner of class.
4. When should you wear safety glasses? when experimenting with fire.
